Interested in becoming a deputy?

Sheriff Deputy Recruits go through vigorous enforcement training as part of their curricula at the Training Academy. They are trained in many types of situations they may encounter as a sheriff’s deputy. The Basic Recruit Program is 24 weeks per session. Officers also go through an In-Service Program which is 40 hours annually.
